If it wasn't for the insertion tool that came with it I would have returned it. Inserting a license plate into the "frame" is not the easiest task and I tried brute force at first. Turns out I wasn't as rude as I thought I was, and after a learning curve, I managed to fit my license plate in the frame. After that it was a lot easier than with regular license plate holders because it's easy to see the alignment holes on this frame instead of guessing them. One of the reasons I bought this is because my Florida "Vietnam War Veteran" license plate was partially obscured by the dealer's frame on my car. The Vietnam Service Medal number and image were displayed, but the Vietnam War Veteran tag was hidden. For many people, the medal on the plate is irrelevant to identifying the specific war I served in. The tag was the information I wanted to display and this frame made it possible. Mission accomplished!
