Review on ViewSonic VX2485-MHU 1080P Frameless Monitor 60Hz with Built-In Speakers, Tilt Adjustment, Blue Light Filter, IPS by Austin Truluv

In general the product is excellent. However, I was messing around with an old surge protector one day, and shortly after connecting my Dell Latitude 7420 via USB-C, I had a few issues getting it fully installed. The display stopped working immediately. I tried restarting my computer. I upgraded to a 4 month old Lenovo Yoga. Ironically, the HDMI connection worked on both computers. Solution: After reading other reviews I got the idea to disconnect USB-C from computer and monitor. I then unplugged the power supply from the back of the monitor. I then reconnected the power, USB-C back to the monitor and then back to the Dell. And voila. It worked.
