Good for open lace patterns!
Very thin if you are used to 3 and 4 strands, little different with all fine yarns you have to worry about the yarn "breaking" from the inside of the ball, I use just wrap my yarn inside out to twist the yarn again - it's easier than losing yarn through a ball.
