Review on JDMSPEED Universal Electric Regulator Conversion by Johnny Santana

So I ordered this with high expectations, on the first try I had the red power wire connected to the power wire behind the dash. The first thing I noticed was how slowly the motor raised the window, I raised and lowered it. 3 times when I saw smoke coming out of the dashboard I immediately turned everything off to avoid burning the wires. Then I decided to connect the red power wire directly to the battery and the black to the ground and raise and lower the window. After two attempts to raise and lower the window, it again began to smoke from the wires, and sparks began to fly out of the wire with the fuse plug attached to it. When trying to turn on the power windows, the wires got so hot that they completely melted the plastic covering them. If I were to drive around the area and try to use the power windows, I have no doubt my truck would catch fire or get an electric shock. I don't know if my kit was faulty or what but I'm hesitant to try another one on my Ford Ranger for fear it might damage my truck. I've attached pictures of the melted wires.
