Initially I was very pleased with the scanner for its bi-directional operation. I ran into two problems when using it on my 2003 Saturn VUE. The first and biggest problem is that the key fob programming doesn't work. I still have an original key fob that I had to solder several times and decided to just buy new ones. I couldn't get the machine to recognize the new ones. I was curious to see if the command to clear all fobs and then try again would make a difference. Well he disabled the original but then I couldn't program it so now I don't have key fobs that work with the car. The second problem is that when scanning systems, the scan says that the instrument cluster module is not equipped. If I don't scan the system and boot all possible systems, I can access the instrument cluster module, get information about the module and run tests to see if it is present. The scanner doesn't see it when it checks modules. Battery life is poor even with the screen backlight off, GPS off, etc. It's probably worth spending a little more for another tool. can reset the oil life monitor, not working. I had to do it manually, which didn't really matter, but it would be nice if the tool's features actually worked.
