If you read my review of the 3/8" set it's almost the same review but for the 1/4" set. I used my grandfather's old socket sets which must be over 60 years old. They're from the days when Craftsman wrenches were really good building tools. Unfortunately, in my opinion, that is no longer the case. This is also my first set of 6 point sockets and they work great with stubborn screws. My 12 point sockets sometimes slip and start rounding the bolts. I used this set and another 3/8 ratchet when replacing the water pump, timing belt and thermostat on my old Honda Ridgeline and these wrenches worked perfectly. I came across Tekton when I needed a set of 1/2" metric impact sockets. The Tekton kit (all kits for that matter) costs way more than other pro user kits so I gave them a try and loved it. From now on, Tekton will be my first key.
