Works perfectly; wouldn't trust too much

I have a heavy duty cable and lock that are left unattended all the time because they are too heavy and clunky. I ordered them as something to attach to my bike and have on hand for emergency stops. I don't know why such a large locking mechanism is attached to such a thin cable, but everything seems to work. As others have said, it doesn't take a lot of wire cutters to get through, but this product should deter less skilled thieves.
