I couldn't ask for a better product for this application. Knowing how to cut wire insulation and strip three copper wires will serve you well and is easy to install. My wife cut off the female end of our very good 12g extension cord with hedge trimmers and this product saved me from throwing the whole $50 cord. It's well insulated and designed for heavy loads, you can't go wrong with that. Leviton is an American company, even if they are made in other countries. I use Leviton in my work with IT infrastructure and trust their products.
