perfect fit. Had to use the screws provided as the 2 front holes on the new case were not as high as the original ones. It didn't have a gasket, but the description doesn't list one, and the parts list diagram I use to get the part number doesn't show it being used. So I assembled it and it seems to be working great. Pumps a lot of water. I had to use the old "sleeve(?)" that fits into the top part of the pump housing under the stuffing box. So I recommend checking out some repair videos and other rambling sites. These engines have 15 hp. and 9.9 are almost identical.
