Ideal for trunk, truck or SUV body.

It's small enough to carry around, easy to slip over bags, luggage, suitcases, boxes, etc. I don't think I would trust it on the roof of an SUV or outdoors if the cargo wasn't tied down with rope or something (why would you need it in that case?), it's just not strong enough for that, and stretching means things can shift and possibly fall off. This is ideal for use in the back of a truck, SUV or trailer to prevent things from slipping and bumping. The hooks aren't very strong, but we had some stronger S-hooks ready to use, so be careful.
