This seat cushion was a big disappointment. It weighs about a quarter the weight of the original seat, so doesn't compress cheap foam pads. In fact if you look closely there is a small air gap when closed. Not very good for ice insulation! As I drilled holes for the hinges, the plastic bag's material began to accept my drill bit. I assume they use this for insulation. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for a decent, cooler top seat cushion if you're worried about cooling your catch out on the water all day. Once you drill those holes, they're yours. garbage
