Overall this is a great microscope for the price. You just can't beat him. The subject of your picture needs to be perfectly still and you need to be very close to get a decent picture. It is very easy to see small details. I used this for my internship and I have to say that I am satisfied. You also need good lighting for the best pictures. A white background is best, perhaps a lamp next to the subject should be turned on. You have to download the software, but it's easy and free. I am very satisfied with this product. I've attached many pictures I took with it to show how the lighting makes or breaks an image. I recommend this to anyone who has the patience to focus a microscope and take lots of pictures and then sort them. Excellent purchase!
