really clear and loud! But too fragile for mountain biking. The lever broke after the fall. metal would have been better. Also, it is difficult to install between the shifter, brake and grip. I had to use a rubber insert because the handlebar is smaller there, but then it's difficult to line up the mounting bolt with the hole. And screwed into plastic, not metal. Easy to pull and undress like I did. After 2 Incredibells I'm now looking for something more compact and durable. Possibly Trigger Bell
