I am driving down the footpath and I am using this appeal to let others know that I am passing them. The sound is nice and makes people smile when they hear me coming from behind. Hikers tell me that if I walk by without warning, it alerts them and removes the scare factor. Women and children find it particularly attractive.

It's easy to install and the audio is clear and loud enough to let someone know you're nearby. The only point of criticism is that the thumb lever is placed a bit inconveniently - not exactly intuitive, you have to think a bit about how best to ring the bell. really clear and loud! But too fragile for mountain biking. The lever broke after the fall. metal would have been better. Also, it is difficult to install between the shifter, brake and grip. I had to use a rubber insert because the handlebar is smaller there, but then it's difficult to line up the mounting bolt with the hole. And screwed into plastic, not metal.
