First off, let me say that I didn't expect extremely high quality from a $12 pair of pliers, but I figured I'd at least get something above Harbor Freight's Pittsburgh brand . I was very dissatisfied to find that these pliers had at least a 1/64th gap between the jaws, as well as a terrible mismatch of the sides. The side cutter blades didn't close perfectly, which is unacceptable to me when you're using them to cut .030 wire. What also really annoyed me was that these pliers had burrs on almost every surface! I mean it was so bad I was almost afraid of cutting myself working with them if I wasn't wearing gloves. That really motivated me to send them back. I just can't believe Hobart put out a product like this. I think I'll spend the extra $15 and buy some good old American made Channellock Mig pliers and from now on I'll be really careful before I buy anything else that bears the Hobart name.
