THAT DOES NOT WORK! in Air Conditioning Tools & Equipment

Save money and get it fixed right. My leak from fully charged with freon to low enough not to cool down was about 3 weeks. If your leak is only 1-2 pounds over a long period of time this might work, but I have my doubts. I bought a sniffer to find the leak. A leak was found in 1 of 8 capillary tubes. The leak was very small, like a spike. This stuff just seeped through the pinhole and made a mess everywhere. I ended up cutting off the capillary tube, clipped it and soldered it to terminal 8. I'm attaching a short video of coil A submerged in 150psi water with nitrogen showing the size of the leak which it definitely didn't fix which is a waste of time and money. As I said above, unless it's a very, very slow leak, invest your money in a proper repair.
