Review on π§ Aftermarket Replacement Carburetor for Kohler K161 K181 Engine by Jared Peck
Works great, my Wheel Horse has never worked so well
After reading some reviews I decided to buy this for my Wheel Horse with 8hp Kohler engine. Several previous buyers listed three things to do and all of the suggestions worked perfectly. Here they are: 1 enlarging the hole for the throttle cable (easy to drill), 2 tapping the front for the air cleaner mounting plate (easy enough), 3 removing the choke lever from the old carb and swapping it over to the new carb, (easy - the new one is built in the opposite direction to the original). The thing started right up and idles great. Thanks for the advice guys.
