Review on 🔧 ACDelco 18B549 Professional Rear Brake Drum Assembly Including Bearing by Michael Rosario

Wheel bearings can be difficult. I wrongly assumed that the already poor reviews on these bearings were due to the complexity of wheel bearing assembly. I have literally installed hundreds of wheel bearings in my life. I now had the unfortunate circumstance of having a total of four of them available. I bought two, installed them and immediately they roared like they were already out of order. Despite my experience, I'll admit that this is my first time installing drum-proof wheel bearings, so I've decided I made a mistake. I bought two more of these and regret not trusting my instincts to give acdelco another chance. The second pair I bought also roared right out of the box. It's garbage. The bearings are sloppy and not lubricated. The flange on the back that seals against the gasket on the spindle journal is TOO LONG and will rub against the back of the spindle shaft (unless you grind it thoroughly). ...but even after fixing this issue, the bearings still creak right out of the box. Don't be fooled into being a 'reliable' or 'American' brand. Literally save your money on any brand other than ACDelco. They are made from pure Chinese and if you take the risk and buy them you are wasting your time and money. Update: I bought Duralast bearings from AutoZone and put them in my old drums and they are quiet. The stocks in it are really rubbish and if you order them you could burn your money and throw away 2 hours of your life. Update update: I tried to contact ACdelco to let them know they sell clean junk and don't answer emails or facebook messenger. If they have anything to say I will provide another update. These camps left scars on me and I will never forget how I was scammed that four of them are real rubbish.
