🔧 ACDelco 18B549 Professional Rear Brake Drum Assembly Including Bearing Review

Initially installed they seemed fine but the bearings were noisier than the old ones they replaced in less than 5000 miles. I will ask for a full refund and buy another brand with better bearings. I would also like to point out that the photos show drum castings indicating they were made in Canada so I bought them, upon receipt of the parts the boxes were marked 'Made in China'. Stay away from ACDelco parts!

At first sight the product appears to be of good quality. I installed this new drum/bearing in my car and immediately the bearing rumbled louder than the one it replaced. Okay, I see them as bad BUT now I know I could have avoided some of what happened. I had to replace the spindle and this drum. When I installed the new drum I forgot to sand the new axle a bit but to get the right finish I jammed this drum and when it came out the bearings fell apart and fell all over the place ending up as Scrap metal. First the good part of the review. Revain delivers them same day in my area. They will fit a 2003 Focus ZX3 rear drum. Everything looks identical to the original parts that I removed. The reason this review got 2 stars is because two of the three I ordered had defects. Bought 2. One of them didn't fit the rear axle of a 2001 Ford Focus. It got stuck when installing and when removing the bearing fell apart. I tried putting the separate back of the bearing on both spindles with grease to see if it was my fault. It got stuck again and had to be removed by force.
