Risked it and works on MB Pro with case but new MB Air with case

I took a chance with this design for its size and ability to fit on my laptop even with a case . Works great with a Macbook Pro as the bottom of the case does not cover the back corners. (first two photos) But it doesn't fit with the new MB Air due to the fact that the MB Air's bottom case has parts that cover the corner, which prevents the adapter from fitting fully into the USB-C ports. (second two photos)
