Testing boat batteries without removing them
I had several suspicious batteries on my sailboat, this device allowed me to test them without removing them from the boat and elsewhere for testing. They are installed in a hard-to-reach place. As expected, one was bad and the other marginal. Now I know which batteries to replace. It gets quite hot when testing, not really a problem, the biggest issue is that the cables can be a bit longer to get into hard to reach compartments in the boat.
