Anyone with the long-nose noodles we like to call "Whippet" knows how difficult it can be to find the right coat. Between the deep chest, narrow shoulders and long back there is often something that doesn't quite fit, but I was very lucky with this coat. It stretches enough to accommodate her oddly shaped breasts while still being long enough to cover a regal (or not-so-regal) butt. Mine gets along perfectly in it and does the usual stupid things: fighting with friends, pouncing on native wildlife and chopping down trees without any noticeable intrusion. Potty handling isn't a problem either - her tail can support the back of her mantle for case #2, and the mantle ends just behind the deepest part of the chest, giving you minimal chance of friendly fire for case #1 What I don't like about this coat is that the black lining is starting to peel off a bit around the belly so I pinned it with an asterisk as I expect to have to use a hot glue gun on some key linings. areas with it. But it fits so well I've already bought 3 of these to use for both the fall weather and as extra protection under thicker coats in winter. I have all 4 coats but I don't care. It's easy to fix and worth the price. Otherwise, these coats have held up very well to repeated washing, tumbling, and even the rigors of dog grooming. Love her!
