I like this for my whippet. It weighs 33 pounds and the medium fits very well - a bit long. The first one I bought was large. It was too long. I gave my niece a 42lb (much larger) Whippet for her and it fit well. The fabric is very soft and beautiful, but not at all like the photo. This is a heavy t-shirt fabric, stretchy and not at all like knits or heather.

I love these coats as they are made for my whippet's slim and long body. Other coats were either too short in the back or too wide in the chest area. The material is soft and stretchy, what I like best is that it covers the tummy while many other coats are open at the bottom where these dogs have almost no hair. This is the perfect base layer for our long low rise fights! Duck weighs about 11 kg and has the typical short, rough coat (he is halfway through his first haircut in the photos).
