I travel a lot in the EU and own some 220V appliances and this boost converter comes in very handy. Pros: It has an on/off switch making it safer to use the IMO rather than plugging it directly into an electrical current that you must turn on before plugging in the device. Comes with two extra plugs for 220V. The cable and the device itself feel strong and durable. It certainly won't get any cheaper. The disadvantages are too great. The reason I give it 4/5 stars is because of the bulkiness of the device. It's actually a bit large and takes up more space than I expected in my not-so-large apartment, along with the other cables needed for the house. The size also doesn't make it ideal for travel. If you compare it to buck converters for example, they are much smaller.
