I'm an artist and sometimes I dry my paintings in the sun. This year I'm in a winter climate with less sun so I figured there must be a UV lamp specifically for the color. I was glad to know it existed and figured this hand lamp would work for my images. Using it for the first time. To my surprise, I only had to leave it on for a few minutes for the color to dry. I could see water vapor rising from my canvas. I keep it about 2 feet away. Just like the sun. Now I don't have to wait hours for the paint to dry. It worked great. Since this is a lightbulb, I recommend handling it carefully and not knocking it.
