We bought a new Samsung TV this year and the remote took a little getting used to. It's very thin, difficult to hold, and I've dropped it multiple times. I actually bought this remote control case because it glowed in the dark, but I didn't see it glow. Maybe a little as you approach the bulb and turn off the light. Best of all, it holds and protects the remote if you drop it. You may not think you need a remote control cover, but you will get hurt if you drop, break or shatter it.
