I have a Stock 1500 Silverado from 2013, I just bought a 275/75/R17 AT and I had a lot of chafing so after reading over 50 reviews I opted for the Motofab 3 /2 level kit decided. hard country, i had to watch a few youtube videos to prepare myself for what i was into, i never did anything but change oil and change tires and take a few breaks before that. After watching Motifab's Youtube video, I still felt uncomfortable due to the lack of detail, then I found a video of the snow plow guy making a great video. I was feeling a little better but still felt like I should find a buddy to help me and I'm glad I did. We spent the first hour tearing everything down and everything went smoothly. After installing the washer on top of the shock we found it very difficult to align with the lower arm bolts, but after fiddling with them for about 45 minutes we were able to install them. We broke the clips while putting it on and I was very worried but after reading about it in another thread it didn't really matter, everything else we put in with no problem and the passenger side worked 5x faster knowing what to do is expect, namely then i realized we didn't screw the spacer to the damper, we only installed it because the videos were fuzzy when we tried to screw it on the passenger side, none of mine fit Bolts into the grooves, so I decided not to worry, since the upper part of the shock absorber is tightened to the wheel arch. The back of the truck was done quickly and easily, the look was better than the photos, you really can't tell from the photos, they aren't true! So far nothing has fallen off, so I'll keep adjusting. Before you start, make sure you have an extra pair of hands and expect it to take around 4-5 hours if you're moderately automatic. Overall the quality was great and it arrived earlier than expected. Make sure you have a set of metric wrenches and a set of sockets. You will need sockets for 10mm, 13mm, 15mm, 18mm and 21mm and a wrench for 15mm. Plan a crowbar, screwdriver, air ratchet, and hammer. Good size jack, 1.5 ton. And the jack stands. Lots of light and finally 12 packs of beer! Also note that my 275/70/R17 will stop running if you plan to buy good size tires!
