I love this kit for my 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500. Installation was pretty easy, it took me and a friend about three hours. It gave my truck the aggressive look I was looking for and handles much better than the stock. After that you need alignment because my truck was completely overdone when I took it to the shop. I love how this wheel alignment kit has changed the look of my truck! Installation wasn't easy, but they did it in the garage in about 5 hours. Two trips to the hardware store for outlets that I didn't have don't count. Unfortunately, a second trip should not have been necessary. I had to go back for a 17mm deep head to attach the spacers to the post. The instructions said 16mm so I bought it for the first time and had to go back for 17mm. I don't normally write reviews but this kit doesn't just raise the front end more than they say. This puts too much stress on the pivot point of the constant velocity joint and the ball joint of the upper arm. it raises the front 4 inches instead of 3 inches. Even 3 inches will try your luck without dropping the differential and upgrading the upper arm. I installed this lift kit on my 2017 Silverado with 20,000 miles. After a few days I withdrew it. The upper control arms will be lowered after installing this kit. As a result, the front suspension allows very little downward travel. In addition, the angles of the ball joints were not optimal.
