Review on Timken SET 17, SET17 (L68149/L68111) Cup/Cone Bearing Set: Reliable and Durable Automotive Component by Daniel Evans

As the previous reviewer said, this isn't the place to save a few bucks on your project. That's what I expect from Timken and have never had a problem with Timken bearings. I've used them in a variety of products from a grinder stand bearing to a locomotive sleeve bearing and they never fail, they just do their job. Buy an American, buy a Timken.
