Review on Cutting Rubber Stainless Screws Washer by Noel Schmits

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect size, excellent non-slip rubber, strong metal disc

I add legs to all my chopping boards so they stand a little higher than the countertop to keep liquid from collecting underneath and keep things tidier overall. These are the perfect legs for this purpose. Drill a small starting hole (or have the screw tap it yourself if the wood is soft) and screw it in. There is a metal washer to hold the screw in place so you can drive this screw in without splitting the rubber. Unlike sticky feet, they never come off. The rubber is a good non-slip compound so the board stays absolutely in place (indeed more so than without the feet) and doesn't leave a mark either. I'm not sure how they'll hold up in a high ozone environment (like Los Angeles), but for me they've lasted a long time.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
