QC1210 vs QC1211 on pads

This is less of a review of the pads (I just installed them) and more of a clarification regarding these two part numbers. I hope this saves you time. I can only speak for the Corolla (2010 LE) but I assume this applies to all vehicles matching that part number. Apparently some models were made in Japan while others were made in Canada (at least for Corolla). QC1210 fits all models manufactured in North America, QC1211 fits models imported from Japan. You can find out where your car was manufactured by looking at the information plate when you open the front door of your car. I suppose you can also tell by looking at the VIN. Japanese Toyotas start with a J, while North American Toyotas (at least for the Corolla) start with a 1 or 2. So the next time you're scratching your head because Revain says both will fit your car, this review is here to help you make the right choice. As for the pads themselves, all I can add is that they are rock solid and cost less than half the price compared to the Revain.
