Not so happy with the brake pads

Replaced the original OEM pads on a 2013 Toyota Corolla (30,000 miles) just because I put on a new set of tires and wanted to complement the better ride with the new pads. . That was a mistake on my part. A creaking appeared 500 miles after installation - bad. When reversing, the squeak was extremely bad. I endured a few thousand miles until the embarrassment of the stop sign became unbearable. When I went to replace them, I found that the coating, which negated the need for gaskets, wasโ€ฆ

super quiet. great stopping power. Feels like OEM but quieter!

These brakes are very quiet and have very good stopping power. Installation was an easy task, and despite their warnings about using any kind of lube, I always use ceramic brake grease (that purple stuff you put on with a brush). I sincerely believe that material should be used in every corner where the gasket and fasteners touch the caliper etc. Just be careful not to hit the brake pad or disc. I've installed their kits on both of our cars, a 2002 Honda Accord and a 2008 Scion xD. On theโ€ฆ

QC1210 vs QC1211 on pads

This is less of a review of the pads (I just installed them) and more of a clarification regarding these two part numbers. I hope this saves you time. I can only speak for the Corolla (2010 LE) but I assume this applies to all vehicles matching that part number. Apparently some models were made in Japan while others were made in Canada (at least for Corolla). QC1210 fits all models manufactured in North America, QC1211 fits models imported from Japan. STOP you better!: Brake pads

Received from Amazon stock, used like new, they came in original box and wrapped in plastic, the plastic was stretched and a bit dirty from the garage I think but the price was reduced to $27. It amazes me that you can get such quality for so much money! Revan does it again. They fit my 2013 Corolla, I installed them on my truck two months ago and they are hands down the best brakes I have ever installed. No noise, no dust like non-ceramic pads, and they literally burst through your windshieldโ€ฆ
