This product was exactly what I needed. Right width, right depth. When I started peeling back the adhesive cover it broke and was very difficult to remove completely. Then I glued the molding to the door. Simple enough, although it looks terrible. Unfortunately the gap wasn't even so I had to remove the gasket. Then the product really showed its true colors. On slow withdrawal, as with any weather strip, it began to fall apart. Torn into tiny pieces that are now permanently attached to my door frame. You have to peel the paint off to remove the leftovers. I reapplied the traditional caulk (pictured) as a temporary fix. The refund of my money doesn't even explain the damage caused by this unwanted product.
