Item received and installed in my new Helix 7 Chirp Mega SI G3. It had a software version of 1.94, which according to the 1.2 documentation is high enough, but don't believe it. I had to upgrade to version 2.33 to get it working at all. After updating the device, you can see the Smartstrike menu. It will be called "Humminbird Legacy" on the map list. That confused me. It's best to leave this on automatic, then scroll through the map menu and select your lake. After you start the search you can double click on the menu and return to Humminbird Base Map if you prefer that map, which I do because it has less outlines and you still see smart hit areas in pink. One thing I also noticed, at the level of the lake, you see large pink square fish symbols. Once you've zoomed in hard enough, they'll switch to the actual fishing areas. I gave this product review one star because of the poor or lack of documentation and the quirkiness of their use. Once you understand this, we hope it is a good tool.
