Dangerous cheap kitchen and dining item
I don't understand the reviews this kettle has received. Maybe other posters got a different teapot. The one I received is cheaply made, there's nothing on it to suggest it's stainless steel at all. The black plastic grip, grip and top of the whistle are made from cheap plastic. Plus, there's no mechanism other than your fingers to pry open the plastic cap on the spout, and of course, that's exactly where the boiling hot steam comes out. This is really a danger.
