The goods are normal, money is not wasted!

I bought this camera in addition to several of my other cameras, so that I could fully use the F lenses and Nikon flashes on the UPC with EVI and with matrix stabilization. This camera lived up to most of my expectations. I can compare with the Sony a7r2 - Z6 camera more convenient in most respects. Nevertheless, I am not ready to part with the a7r2 and replace it with the Z7 (analogous in resolution): the price of the Z7 is too high, and I also have Sony FE lenses that are not available in the Z system.

There are still few native lenses for this lens mount in the Nikon Z system, but those that have appeared impress with their characteristics. Unfortunately, their prices compete with those of Sony - just as high. However, I hope to "marry" Sony FE lenses with the z6 camera using the Techart TZE-01 AF adapter - I already ordered it, we'll see what happens.

The Z6 camera is a great choice for those looking to upgrade to a UPC from a Nikon SLR system. For those who buy a BZK from scratch, this is just one of the good options - in some ways it is better, in some ways it is not.

Pros

- Very comfortable and ergonomic carcass - Bright and clear viewfinder - 7 programmable buttons - Excellent compatibility with older flashes (SB-800, R1C1). Fully compatible with SU-800 (Tom Hogan's review says that SU-800 does not work with Z cameras - maybe the firmware solved this problem, I have firmware version 2.0, everything works) - Excellent compatibility (AF, stabilization) with most F-mount lenses via FTZ adapter (there are exceptions - see disadvantages) - The 24-70/4 kit lens is fantastically perfect. But this is partly due to the non-disabled distortion correction option (eliminates distortion and vignetting). It is sharp and accurate throughout the entire range, and this cannot be taken away from him. - It is very convenient to work with manual lenses - but there is room for improvement: - Lenses with manual focus can be entered into the database, assign a number to each and enter the value of FR and min. aperture number. This is a plus. But unlike Nikon's SLR carcasses, the Z6 camera does not detect a change in the aperture of AI - Ais lenses and does not write it to exif. Only DF is used for matrix stabilization. It's still more convenient than in Sony cameras (you don't need to scroll through all the focal lengths every time), but there is no limit to perfection.

Cons

- The function of increasing the focus area is strangely implemented - it is convenient and can be hung on programmable buttons, BUT: only one pre-set magnification value (50%, 100% or 200%) can be set per button. Pressing the button again resets the magnification, but the magnification is not reset by half-pressing the shutter release, as in the Sony a7r2, for example. I had to use three buttons to set three different magnifications - this is inconvenient. Ideally, magnification should cycle through pressing one button again (50%-100%-200%-reset) + magnification reset when half-pressing the shutter button. - One of my lenses (Sigma Macro 150mm f/2.8, no OS) refused to work with this body, it can't be used even with manual focus.
