Review on 🔑 ISS-297 Ignition Starter Switch by PT Auto Warehouse by Jacob Leon

This did not work without modification on my 98 gmc 1500 v6. I had to cut a safety wire that goes into the front of the ignition cylinder housing. Luckily this was an easy fix, I just had to remove the blue retaining clips and use a paper clip to pry the wires out of the connector. As soon as I connected and installed the protective part of the wiring harness, the truck started with no problems. Without the wire, the combination lock would work and the truck would just stall. It's still better than paying $120-$165 locally but be careful if you have a black connector on top of the ignition housing you will need to modify it to make it work but it will work. Painting! I think they sent me the wrong part or something. The picture shows the correct part but be aware it may not match the picture, mine wasn't.
