My friend and I built a smoker from scratch and although we have a temp sensor on the smoker itself we dried all our meat. After searching the internet I came across a link to this set of wireless meat thermometers. I've never seen this before and we're absolutely in love with it. No more having to get off the couch, step outside in the heat (we live in South Florida) and open a full-size hot smoker to check the temperature of what we're smoking. In addition, the smokehouse is inconvenient to open and close. It is accurate compared to our regular meat thermometer. Overall very happy with this purchase. It was also packaged very nicely and would make a great Father's Day gift or even a birthday present for the man or chef in your life.
