I was just sewing my first pillow and after about a meter the machine started smelling like burnt plastic. I thought it was just a new car so I kept driving, then the car light started flickering and the car stopped and then just stopped working. Smelled even worse. Returned. Maybe I got a bad one? Someone mentioned it was noisy, true, but nothing to worry about. It's easy to return on Amazon, but don't buy a brand that smells like plastic.
