Excellent. Out of the box I made about a dozen 1/2 x 1/2 d 18 inch rabbit grooves in white oak board and each cut was creakingly finished. In addition, zero gap without using a wheel marking knife, which saves a lot of time. Bit life is not yet certain as it is new but no sign of dulling or scaling after first heavy use in hardwood.
