The cheaper one just wasted my time
This regulator from Dorman fitted my 2000 RL perfectly. I bought a much cheaper no-name regulator first and it bolted on, but the vertical arc of the mechanism wasn't angled properly so the window wouldn't go up and down without my help. The cheaper one is just a waste of time. So I bought a Dorman and it worked great.
