Review on TOTO SW2033R#01 C100 Electronic Bidet Toilet with Cleansing Water, Heated Seat, Deodorizer, Warm Air Dryer, PREMIST - Round, Cotton White by Gary Cole

Installation is very easy and the quality is second to none. It changed my life in the sense that it simply raised the bar for the quality of life. A warm seat, washing the lower body when you go number 2 (or number 1 for women) really improves the quality of life for me and my family. I went to Japan with mild hemorrhoids and being on a plane for 13 hours wasn't very fun. After a 2 week stay in Japan and daily use of the washlet, my bum irritation was gone and my flight home went smoothly for my buttocks. Back in the US I was craving Washlet here. So I called an electrician and outlets were installed next to all three dressers. We "tested" this model in the main washroom and it really made a difference. It's clean, sane and truly 21st century. I still use TP for pre-cleaning to get bigger stuff but I let the water clean the rest. After drying, I sometimes use TP just to check cleanliness, but our use of TP has been reduced by at least 5x. With a looming shortage of critical items like TP, I feel better having a washlet at home. If it gets to the point where you can't get a TP, you'll be fine! If there's one thing I've had, it's that it's that I got a version that fits a round (rather than oblong) bowl, it's a complaint. The seat and bowl opening is a bit narrow lengthwise when I sit on the seat. I am 100% Japanese by birth with a typical Japanese physiology and I found the hole a little small. If you're on the larger side, you might find this version a bit stiff. You might want to replace your toilet with an extra long bowl and buy an extra long version instead. Now we're pretty convinced. I'll keep an eye out for other models for the children's/guest bathroom and the master bedroom. One thing I can say for sure, apart from Toto, I won't get anything.
