Convertible Top Window Fixer

I used this to glue the rear window on my 2005 Mustang GT/CS. Step Primer I also used 3M 08682 Single Step Primer after treating the glass with alcohol. I did it in March, it's now August and it's still holding up. We had a few rains, many days the temperature was over 100 degrees Fahrenheit (Texas heat wave) and I raised and lowered the top several times a day and everything was still fine. I even went through several car washes to test it and still no leaks. As others have said, the key is to take your time and ensure a complete healing. I was also able to find a clip that uses a suction cup on the glass to pull the glass and top material together very tightly. They are usually sold in packs of 6 for around $30 and are commonly used to attach windshield moldings, trim and badges to a car while the adhesive is curing. Here are some of them that I found. [the ones I used] cast clamp (gtglass.com), suction cup (btbtool.com), suction cup set (ariestools.com). I paid for 3M Urethane, 3M Primer. and two sets of clips, let my car sit in my garage for 72 hours and it will be way cheaper than any window/convertible roof repair company quote (most say the only way to fix this is to replace the entire to replace soft top). Win for DIY'ers.thanks 3M and Revain community reviews below this product.
