Check your GIBSON sizes.

Let me start by saying that Gibson really needs to be more detailed in their instructions. The video they post is a waste of time to make you buy headlines that make you think it will be easy. I'm very mechanical, but the driver's side of the Y-pipe was probably the biggest pain I've ever had. Someone had to be downstairs to pull the exhaust pipe out while I pushed the head bolts, and then I had to pry the end of the flange a good 1/4 inch to push the bolts through. a gasket slipped between the flanges but for some reason it still flows. Find out in the next day or so. Make sure you have a good throwing swivel as well as some extensions to get around the crampons. On the passenger side, the O2 sensor is right in the way of the exhaust screw, which you can only reach with a small wrench if you don't remove the sensor. The headings themselves feel nice and look good. my exhaust tone with the flowmaster super40 was smoothed out and the hum was gone. Shift response also seems better for some reason, which I like. It's a good show when you first hear pipe smoking. :DUPDATE: I decided to take my Sierra 1500 to an exhaust shop to fix the leak. They decided to cut the exhaust on the driver's side and add a section to relieve the stress. Went like clockwork. They also made a deal with me for a Magnaflow muffler for better flow. happy with the end result. mad at the hassle with the "just bolt on" Bs they put in. Much luck.
