This cat flap is well made. The damper works fine. I like the transparent plastic door. There is only one door. This is one of two cat doors that I have purchased. I have this in a fence in my backyard. i have coyotes So it's just an emergency door for my cat when chased by a coyote, right? I plan to buy three more as emergency exits for him. I Spent $800 Fencing Coyote On My Property; but he is a feral cat who is cunning with Coyote. But I firmly believe that the gate must be closed before the cows leave. You can spend more on cat doors, but why. This is a high quality cat door. The box it comes in is of poor quality and design. But you just drop the box when you're done. Another cat door was the PetSafe Wall Entry pet door with a telescoping tunnel that cost $60. But my house has 1 foot thick walls so I needed an expansion tunnel. But both have the same quality. Except that Petsafe has double doors.
