Review on πŸ“· Black Benro A48FD Aluminum Monopod with Flip-Lock, 4-Series and 3-Foot Articulating Base by Cesar Danger

Close, but not an outright winner.

Let me start by saying that I was sent an S4 head instead of the S6 I ordered so this review is for the S4. I don't know if it's from Amazon or from the seller, but not only was the wrong item sent, the box was in TERRIBLE condition (photos attached). I returned it but decided to give it a try as I had heard good things about the Benro but had never owned it. 1) Appearance: I like the color scheme and the look of the device. The material of monopod and head looks like high quality aluminum. 2) Materials and Feel: The monopod is made of beautifully crafted and smooth black coated aluminum with a secure fit and smooth-running twist locks. The head (including handles and locks) appears to be a little cheaper than others in their market, namely Manfrotto. 3) Mechanism: This head is surprisingly strong for its small size. Unfortunately, it's too "bouncy" in my opinion when the damping is set to low-to-mid, but quite soft when the damping is set to firmer settings. Based on my experience with this S4 head I'm not sure if it would be like the S6 head and I will look for another solution for my monopod.
