So many 1 stars say they are not square. What they don't know is that this style is the only type of square that can be easily adjusted and dialed into an exact squat in 2 minutes by filling in one of the two alignment guides in the sliding area. Just check YouTube. Super easy and accurate if you have a thin file. All pitches should be checked over time for changing weather and after a fall. This style is good for life. 6" is SO a useful size for marking and woodworking. Great price at $8. Easily worth double or more.
