Review on Enhance Your Cutting Precision with the Harold Import Company Lee Adjustable Wooden Corn Cutter by Dave Howard

I was very happy to order this product, it had good reviews so I expected to be satisfied. It arrived in a very good time, earlier than expected and in good condition. However, when I first used it, I found that the cutting blade was so blunt that it took significant pressure to get it to cut, and then it pulled the corn off the cob. It was so difficult to use that it was dangerous. So I sharpened the blade with wet stone and steel. That went well for about 1 1/2 pistons and then got really boring again. Removing the scraper and cream blade was very difficult, there just wasn't enough room to put the screwdriver in the right place so you had to hold it at an angle which made it almost impossible to get the screwdriver into the screw. I've also tried it for corn buttercream. This worked better but was still cumbersome because there is no place to hold the cutting tool to keep it from slipping all over the place when in use. Overall I found this product to be awkward, unsafe and disappointing. I'm using my electric knife again!
