Review on 📻 Retevis RT5 Dual Band Walkie Talkies with Long Range, Flashlight, Police Handheld Radio, VOX, Rechargeable 2 Way Radio with Earpiece (2 Pack) by Jesse Azuse

I bought this set of Retevis RT5 (8W) radios with included programming cable to replace my 'blister packs' of GMRS radios. WOW! What a BIG difference! These radios are AMAZING! I had the opportunity to test them today. Drive 6 miles in and out of town. IN THE REAL WORLD, no kidding, 6 miles! This is a successful transmission and reception. I currently hold an FCC GMRS license (and will be testing my ham radio license soon) so for now I have only been able to test the GMRS and MURS capabilities. But soon I will be able to test the capabilities of these radios on the 2m band. However, I was able to receive and transmit much better than radios in blister packs. During testing, I used aftermarket Retevis RHD-771 antennas on both radios instead of the rubber ducky antennas that came with them. They worked PERFECTLY! I used the Retevis RT5 software (instead of CHIRP) from the Retevis.com website to program the radio (using the included USB cable) as it is more compatible with the RT5 radio when assigning power levels seemed to be. And what's even BETTER than these radios is the customer service ANGELA provides (she's gone UP AND FURTHER in a way other companies can't even come close to matching). I will use these radios mainly for outdoor activities (e.g. camping, fishing etc.) but also for any other events that come my way in life. It would be GREAT for family gatherings, farm communication (between combine, tractor, etc. It was made there!) you name it. For the price, these radios can't be beat! I am VERY happy with these RT5s and ALSO happy with the INCREDIBLE customer service from Angela and Retevis!
