I have been using Simply Soft Yarn to knit baby blankets for over a year now. I found that most of the colors I bought were an exact match to the picture until I bought Dark Country Blue. The yarn does not look like the photo. The color is actually dark blue. I checked the labels on all the packages and they say Dark Country Blue. I also went to the manufacturer's website and the color on their website does not match the color pictured here. The color on the manufacturer's website matches the color of the yarn I received. I wanted to make a soft yarn prayer rug as a gift. I was very disappointed with the color. I bought the yarn in several other colors, that match the colors in the photo. Off WhiteSoft PinkSoft BlueSoft Green The yarn itself I would give 4 stars, As it is easy to work with, it has a soft feel and there is virtually no thread in the skeins that has been snapped/cut. Now I can't find a single yarn brand that doesn't have cut, broken, or knitted yarn in many skeins. I've only found one skein of many Simply Soft Yarn skeins I've bought with broken strands and that was Soft Pink. If you've seen the yarn before you buy it and know what to expect in terms of color, 6oz skein is good value for money. However, please note that some of the colors shown may not be accurate. In the future I will only order one skein of one color, which I haven't personally seen before buying a large quantity for a particular pattern.
